NEBOSH Environmental Certificate is made up of two units each with its own assessment:

• Unit EMC1: Management and Control of Environmental Hazards
  • 1-Foundations in environmental management
    2-Environmental management system
    3-Assessing environmental aspects and impacts
    4-Planning for & dealing with environmental emergencies
    5-Control of emission to air
    6-Control of environmental noise
    7-Control of contaminations of water resources
    8-Control of waste and land use
    9-Sources & use of energy & energy efficiency

 Assessed by a 24 hour written OPEN BOOK Exam 

• Unit EMC2: Environmental Practical Application

Assessed by a 2 hour work based practical assessment.
